Q: Where is the entrance to Suwannee Lights?
The entrance to Suwannee Lights is at the Spirit of the Suwannee’s Festival Entrance located at 9379 County Road 132, Live Oak, Florida 32060.


Q: What time do the Gates open for Suwannee Lights each night?
The Ticket Booth opens at 5:45p each night and the Suwannee Lights Gates will open each night at 6:00pm and will close each night at 10:00pm local time.


Q: What if I arrive at the Park’s Main Gate?
Guests arriving to Suwannee Lights off of Highway 129 at the Park’s Main Gate, will be re-routed to enter the Park at the Festival Entrance. Only guests who have purchased packages will be allowed to enter the lights through the Main Gate.


Q: How much does it cost at the Gate?

Suwannee Lights is free to children under 3 years of age; $2 for children 4 to 12; and for everyone else on Sunday through Wednesday $8; Thursday through Saturday $10; Peak Nights on December 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st, the price is $12. All prices are per person. Check out our

Q: How do I rent a Golf Cart to drive through Suwannee Lights?
If you would like to rent a golf cart, you must tell our helpful traffic wrangler that you wish to rent a golf cart. You will be instructed to park your vehicle in a designated space, then walk up to the ticket booth. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and must sign a rental contract. Please present a valid driver’s license at the Gate. The cost of the Golf Cart rental is $25 for each hour. Golf Cart rentals are first come first served. We do not rent carts after 9:00pm each night.


Q: What if I want to bring my own Golf Cart?
You may bring your own Golf Cart to drive through Suwannee Lights. But you must pay a Trail Fee and present proof of insurance and a valid Drivers License. Only Park Members enjoy free Trail Fees. Trail Fees for non-Park Members are $30 per day.


Q: How do I book a Trolley Ride?
To book a Trolley Ride please call Lauren Lewis at the Spirit of the Suwannee at 386/364-1683 to book your ride. Our Customer Service Representatives will have a schedule of six to fourteen time slots available each night. Each ride starts on the hour or half hour at the Entrance to the Suwannee Lights. Please inform our helpful traffic wrangler that you have booked a Trolley Ride and they will instruct you to park your vehicle in a designated space and to walk to the Ticket Booth to register your party for the ride. All guests will need tickets. The last
Trolley Ride is scheduled for 9:00pm. The Trolley will hold up to 12 adults. We have 2 Trolleys available to run at 1 time. The Trolley will bring guests back to the front entrance to retrieve their vehicles.


Q: Do you offer GROUP Discounts?

Yes, we offer a group discount when you have 10 or more members of your party who purchase the tickets in the same transaction.

Group Discount on Sunday – Wednesday is $4 per person.

Group Discount on Thursday – Saturday is $5 per person.

However, on Peak Nights (December 13th and 14th; and December 20th and 21st ) we do NOT honor group rates. This is because the demand for Suwannee Lights is so High that we encourage groups to come on different nights. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes, but we are trying to improve our service.


Q: Are you doing the hot chocolate and cookies?

The Sweet Shoppe will be open in the Craft Village with Hot Cocoa and Marshmallows for roasting around the campfire for a nominal fee. You will be able to purchase ice cream, pizzas, and more snacks there as well. The Sweet Shoppe will be open from 6:00pm – 10:00pm each night.


Q: What Entertainment will be offered?

There will be a number of entertainment options offered during Suwannee Lights this year including Christmas decoration
making; singing around the campfire; wood carver demonstrations; kids camp performers; a memory Christmas tree; and more. Go to for a complete listing of Music Hall entertainment on the weekends.

Q: Can we get out and walk through the Suwannee Lights?

Suwannee Lights is a drive-through Christmas Lights display. You may NOT get out of your vehicle through the drive. However, we do have a walk-through portion of Suwannee Lights set up at the end of the drive. There you can park your vehicle, walk through Christmas Lights in the Amphitheater, visit the Craft Village, and see Santa Clause at the Craft Village.

Q: Can I bring my Pet?

Pets are welcome as long as they are on a leash and under your control at all times. Pet owners must present proof of anti-rabies vaccination in order to bring in their pet and sign a form. If you want to bring in your pet, please Park, bring your pet with you to the box office to fill out paperwork and provide a copy of the proof of vaccination.


Q: If I have a reservation for a campsite, can I go through the lights for free? 

No, a campsite reservation does not include tickets to the show. You must purchase a ticket. However, we do offer camping and cabin packages that do include tickets.

Q: What are the Country Store hours?

9:00am to 10:00pm everyday.

Q: Will the SOS Café be open for Suwannee Lights?

Yes, the SOS Café will be open from 8am to 10p on Thursday; and from 8am – Midnight on Friday and Saturday
nights. We will have entertainment in the Music Hall on Friday and Saturday nights. Music Hall doors open at 6pm. Check out the complete entertainment listing at

Q: Busy Bee Tickets?

Our partner Busy Bee is offering Busy Bee night at Suwannee Lights. On Tuesday nights, the Park will accept Busy Bee tickets to Suwannee
Lights. Guests who purchase a 20 oz. Coca Cola Product and a package of Uncle Rays Chips at participating Busy Bee locations will receive a Busy Bee ticket to Suwannee Lights with their Purchase. Busy Bee tickets are per person

Q: When will Snow Nights be?

Saturday, December 28th will be SNOW NIGHTS from 4:00pm – 8:00pm. You do not need a ticket to Suwannee Lights to come to Snow Nights at
the Park. You may enter the Park at the Main Gate on this night to attend Snow Nights.

Q: Do you offer DISCOUNTED Tickets?

Yes, Park Members enjoy discounted tickets. We also have coupons available at local area businesses that are good for $2 off
the online or gate price of an Adult ticket. Guests 65 and older, First Responders, and members of the Military will receive a $2 discount when they show valid photo ID. Please be aware, discounted tickets are NOT accepted on PEAK NIGHTS.

Q: What are PEAK NIGHTS?

Peak Nights are nights when we are the busiest. Friday, December 13th ; Saturday, December 14th ; Friday, December 20th ; and Saturday,
December 21st are considered PEAK Nights. The wait time to get in to see Suwannee Lights could be as long as 2 hours on these nights. So this year, we are offering a limited number of advance tickets that you can purchase on the website this year. Once we sell out, we will not sell anymore tickets at the GATE. Please watch our website at for more information.
We will likely sell out of these tickets in advance this year. If we sell out, we will not be selling tickets at the GATE. So BUY early!!

Q: Are you offering Christmas packages?

Yes, we offer 3 different package types:
Cabin Package $292.71– includes 2 nights in a cabin (for arrivals on Sunday through Wednesday nights); a 2 day golf cart rental; and 4 tickets to Suwannee Lights.
Camping & Cart Package $177.30 – includes any 2 nights on a water and electric campsite; a 2 day golf cart rental; and 4 tickets to Suwannee Lights.

Camping Package $101.50 – includes any 2 nights on a water and electric campsite; and 4 tickets to Suwannee Lights.
